Five important warnings for thyroid patients who are taking medication

1- The medicine should be taken on an empty stomach at least half an hour before taking any meal or any other medicine with a glass of water.

2- Swallow the whole pill directly and not chew it or break it.

3- It should be taken at least 4 hours before or after the following medicines:

     Stomach antacids and stomach medications

    Calcium support medications.

    Iron-supporting medications for patients with anemia.

    - lipid-lowering drugs

    Weight loss drugs

4- If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible on an empty stomach or at least two hours after eating a meal. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule, and do not double doses.

5- TSH analysis should be performed every 3-4 months in stable patients, and every 6 weeks in patients with unstable hormone analysis after adjusting the dosage.
