Ronaldo falls into one disaster after another, and the British police warn him

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has received a police warning after he dropped a 14-year-old boy's phone following last season's Premier League defeat to Everton.

The 37-year-old apologized via social media to the young fan after the incident, which occurred last April.

A police statement on Wednesday said: "We can confirm that a 37-year-old man voluntarily attended and was interviewed and was warned in connection with an allegation of assault and criminal tort.

He continued: "The allegations relate to an incident following the football match between Everton and Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday 9 April. The matter was dealt with by conditional warning. It's over now.

A video clip showed Ronaldo angrily hitting the phone with the boy's hand as he walked into the tunnel.

The boy's mother said he left his hand bruised and his phone screen shattered.

Ronaldo is reportedly seeking to leave Old Trafford, after returning to the club a year ago from Juventus.
