Sarcasm and gloating from Elon Musk for Meta

After Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, announced that its servers on popular sites had crashed, American billionaire Elon Musk mocked this technical malfunction in a laughable way.

The CEO of the “X” platform published a picture of the tweet of the head of communications at “Meta”, and in the background is a funny picture of penguins (Facebook, Instagram, and Thread) raising the greeting of their leader, the penguin “X”.

Elon Musk also gloated over the disruption of the Facebook website - which later returned to work -, and wrote through his account on the “X” platform, “If you are reading this post, this is evidence that our servers are working.”

This came after hundreds of users around the world reported to the Down Detector website about a problem they encountered while using Facebook and Instagram.

Many accounts also recorded a logout process, with no possibility of returning despite registering the password.

Later, the Director of Communications at Meta announced the return of the popular applications, and said on the X platform, “A technical problem caused difficulty in accessing some of our services... We solved the problem as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

The war of words between billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Meta) escalated with the latter’s launch of the “Threads” platform, last July, as the messaging application competing with the X platform attracted more than 100 million subscribers in less than a week of its launch.
