Vincent Van Gogh painting stolen from Holland Museum during closure due to Corona
The director of the "Singer Laren" Museum in the Netherlands said, on Monday, that thieves stole a painting by the painter Vincent Van Gogh, after storming the closed museum due to the outbreak of the "Corona" virus.
Evert van Os, director of the museum, said: "There was a break-in into the museum last night, and a valuable Van Gogh painting was stolen.
He explained that the stolen painting bears the title "Garden der Nuenen in Spring", and painted by Van Gogh in 1884 while he was staying at his father's house.
The value of the painting is estimated between one million and six million euros, according to local media. Police and Dutch news reports said the thieves infiltrated the museum at around 01,15:XNUMX GMT, by breaking its front glass door.
And it's not the first time that Vincent Van Gogh's paintings have been stolen.
And the artist's page, Van Gogh, published that this robbery coincided with the anniversary of Van Gogh's birth.
