A car without fuel and without electricity

An American company has invented the first car in the world that works almost entirely on solar energy, as it can be used by its owners on a daily and complete basis without the need to refuel with any conventional fuel and without the need to charge it with electricity, so that this car is unique in its kind and specifications, and it may witness a wide spread in the regions sunny or warm.

And in the details published by the British newspaper (Daily Mail), and viewed by Al-Arabiya, the innovative car is produced by the American company “Aptera Motors”, and it runs with only three wheels, not four, and it can travel up to 40 miles (64 km). per day using solar energy and without the need for any fuel or electricity charging.

The price of the new car, which has not yet been put on the market for commercial consumption, will be 33 thousand and 200 dollars, but it is expected that it will be available in the market as of the end of this year.

The body of the three-wheeler is integrated with 34 square feet of solar panels, allowing it to charge 700 watts of electricity while driving.

And Aptera Motors says that owners of the first version of this car can expect to “drive for weeks or even months without having to connect electricity to charge it.”

And the company asserts that in a particularly sunny place such as Southern California or the Arab Gulf states, drivers may find that they do not have to charge their car at all.

The Aptera consists of six lightweight body parts made from a combination of carbon fiber and glass fiber. These fit together in a streamlined shape, which reduces consumption and increases the vehicle's efficiency. This also means that it uses only a quarter of the energy of other electric and hybrid vehicles.

According to the company, what helps the vehicle to reduce energy consumption is the fact that it runs on only three wheels, as this eliminates potential energy loss.

The first version of this vehicle will have a 42 kWh battery pack, giving it a total range of 400 miles (640 km), but that will be increased to 1600 miles (XNUMX km) in later versions, the longest range of any mass-produced vehicle. Until now.

Depending on the specification, if the driver finds they need to charge the vehicle, it can be plugged into any standard power outlet, and they will gain an additional 13 miles (21 km) of driving for every hour connected to a standard 110-volt charger.

Each of the car's three wheels is driven by a single motor, giving it a combined power output of 128 kW (171 hp), a top speed of 101 mph (162.5 km/h) and a top speed of 60 mph. clock (100 km / h) in just four seconds.

"We've cracked the equation for a more efficient way to travel by harnessing the power of the sun, and we're excited to introduce our new vehicle to the world," said Steve Fambrough, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Aptera Motors.

“Our tireless efforts have resulted in the Aptera, which can take you where you want to go by using creative energy straight from our sun and efficiently converting it into free movement,” added Vambro.

Aptera Motors was established for the first time in 2005, but it was forced to close in 2011 after it ran out of money, but the company's owners revived it in 2019.
