Chanel Cruise lands in Dubai and an exceptional show befitting the heritage of the house

Another special show that Dubai witnessed after the Armani Aramani and Louis Vuitton collections, where Chanel presented the 2021-2022 Cruise collection, in a dazzling show, in the presence of Arab stars and celebrities, as well as international celebrities, in Dubai Rise Dubai Creek Harbour. This event is exceptional of its kind, especially Nearly 7 years after the first time the house presented its shows in the city, the late Karl Lagerfeld showed one of his collections in 2014.

And before we watched the show, Chanel inspired us some designs from the Cruise 2022 collection, in a special photo session from the heart of the Dubai desert, which had previously been shown at the Lumières de Carrières Art Center, last May

Virginie Viard, the creative director of the house, was inspired by this collection from the French Provence region, which is characterized by its picturesque landscapes, in addition to the works of the literary artist and poet Jean Cocteau, specifically his movie The Testament of Orpheus, as his works were characterized by accuracy and romance, with a spirit of dreamy imagination and fantasy. And this was overshadowed by that dreamy group, which came as a sign with a photographic scene from the heart of the Dubai desert.

Full of life and optimism, this distinctive collection was re-presented in a dazzling display of the glittering city, where we saw the black and white dresses, the tweed patterned ball gowns, with the oversized crystal accessories, and the bold mesh socks, to designs that give women the strength and the desire to go out again.
