The verdict was issued against Fadi Al-Hashem, the husband of Nancy Ajram, and he was exempted from punishment

The first investigative judge in Mount Lebanon, Nicolas Mansour, issued his presumptive decision in the case of Nancy Ajram's husband, Fadi Al-Hashem. considering That the latter was in a state of legitimate defense for himself and his family and to stop the pursuit of him.

Exempting Nancy Ajram's husband from punishment

The presumptive decision considered that the criminal sympathy of Article 547 of the Penal Code on Article 228 in it means that the defendant is exempt from punishment as he is in a state of legitimate self-defense and a state of extreme anger for fear of his family.

Judge Mansour referred the file to the Indictment Division through the Public Prosecution of Appeal to consider it and issue its decision, given that the Criminal Court decides on the basis of the dispute, since the investigative judge may not save the file in the case of legitimate self-defense, according to judicial sources.

Accordingly, Judge Mansour considered the act of Al-Hashem to apply to Articles 547 and 228 of the Penal Code, which provide for the state of legitimate self-defense.
