Ahlam cries..her father killed her and drank tea near her body

Over the past few days, the tragedy of the Jordanian Ahlam, who was killed by her father and who drank tea over her corpse, brought to mind the name ""Israa Gharib” The girl in her twenties, who was killed nearly a year ago by her parents as well.

Dreams of a father killing his daughter

As Israa, the issue of Ahlam shook social networking sites during the past hours, with the hashtag “Screams of Dreams” leading the list of the most popular in Jordan on Twitter, which also buzzed with a video clip filmed at night, in which Ahlam’s cries are heard as she pleads for help.

The story began after the Jordanians woke up, last Saturday morning, to a horrific murder, as a father smashed his daughter’s head with a stone until she died in front of residents in the Safout area in Al-Balqa governorate, west of the capital, Amman. Which no one came to pick it up, so it remained in the center while the murderer's father is under investigation.

After accusing her of madness, Israa Gharib's friends reveal the hidden

He killed her and drank tea over her corpse

Eyewitnesses who attended the incident stated that "the girl started running in the street, blood flowing from her neck, while her father pursued her with a stone that smashed her head until she fell to the ground as a lifeless body, so he sat next to her later drinking tea."

While the girl was screaming, her brothers prevented anyone from approaching and saving her from the "father's" clutches, and a video clip filmed by a neighbor spread showing what happened to the girl.

In the face of the anger of activists on the communication sites who demanded the execution of the father and the enactment of laws that guarantee the protection of women, the authorities took action, and the Jordanian Security Directorate arrested the offender and referred him to trial.

Strangely enough, after the accused father was arrested, information was received that the responsible authorities had ignored previous complaints submitted by the victim that she had been subjected to domestic violence, and that she was content with the family signing pledges only.

Meanwhile, the media spokesperson for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate confirmed that everything that was published about this case was incorrect, stressing that Ahlam had never reviewed or submitted any complaint regarding her being subjected to any domestic violence.

The official revealed that the girl had previously been detained following another case not related to domestic violence, indicating that the case is now with the judiciary for consideration.

Forensic report reveals

On the other hand, the forensic report, after the autopsy of Ahlam's body, revealed that the death came as a result of a head injury caused by a severe impact that fractured the bones of the skull and lacerated the brain and its coverings.

Meanwhile, the National Center for Forensic Medicine blew up another surprise, pointing out that no one came to receive Ahlam's body, which is still in the center to this day.

The harshest punishments for the killer .. and preventing the circulation of details

In addition, the tweeters and activists on the Al-Wasel websites demanded the harshest penalties for the father, and the application of Article 98 of the Jordanian Penal Code, which was amended in 2017, which excludes the killer of any female from his family on the pretext of “honor” from the list of beneficiaries of the reduced sentence.

In the face of this interaction and without mentioning explanations or reasons, the Public Prosecutor for major crimes prevented the media from publishing any details about Ahlam's murder, under pain of penalties, and directed an official letter to the matter.

What about “poisoned comments”?

In turn, Dr. Ismat Hoso, head of the "Jender" Center for Social Consultation, stated that Ahlam's cries are not only the cries of the victim, but are the cries of every woman who is exposed almost daily to various types of violence in homes behind closed doors, without anyone hearing her story.

She stressed that such cases will not stop except in two cases, the first of which is building a new awareness of the human being, enabling the human soul of men and women to think of sound social thinking, and changing the mentality of such people.

She also referred to the poisonous comments that supported the murderer's father, stressing that these comments are only projects that support new killers, stressing that deterrent laws exist, but they are never applied if they are applied correctly, we would not hear about such cases.

It is reported that after preventing the media from circulating in the case of #Screams_Dreams, there was nothing left but to wait for all the official reports on the crime.
