The Chanel fashion show was inspired by the orphanage where Coco Chanel grew up 

During Paris Fashion Week, Chanel presented a new collection of haute couture designed by Virginia Viard, dedicated to Miss Coco Chanel, the founder of the house. The collection was inspired by the orphanage and the convent in which Miss Gabrielle Chanel lived and grew up.
