A Lebanese video that violently abuses his wife in the most horrific way shakes the media

A horrific video spread during the past hours on social media shook Lebanese circles, after it showed a man violently beating his wife while the latter kneeled on the ground with her hands raised.

According to information, the clip was filmed in the north of Lebanon, and that the woman is being subjected to violence by her husband, a soldier who belongs to the internal security forces in the country.
An advertising material also indicated that the woman had repeatedly tried to commit suicide to get rid of her life after she was subjected to the most horrific and cruel types of torture, according to what was quoted from the victim's father, who spoke through a Facebook account.
The video sparked widespread anger in the Lebanese street, amid calls for the harshest penalties to be imposed on the abusive husband.
Some also appealed to the Internal Security to deter those trying to wrap the case and silence the girl's supporters, heading to the General Directorate of Security Forces and civil associations concerned with defending women's rights, asking them to intervene.
While Twitterers published pictures of bruises that they said belonged to the victim.

It is noteworthy that the latest figures issued by the Internal Security Forces, dating back to 2019, revealed that the rate of reporting violence against women fluctuates between 100 and 180 percent on the hotline.
Those concerned considered these numbers to be very dangerous, pointing out that there are other percentages that no one knows about, as they are not reported at all.
