Cardi B files for divorce from her husband, Ovest

Singer Cardi B, 27, has filed for divorce from her husband, Offset rapper, after three years of marriage.

Celebrity news website TMZ reported that Cardi B filed for divorce in court on Tuesday.

Cardi B and Offset married in 2017, and have a two-year-old daughter whom they named Culture.

Cardi B said in her divorce filing that she is asking for "physical and legal custody of their child."

The court papers stated that there was "no possibility of reconciliation between the spouses" and that "their relationship has ended."

Reports stated that the reason for the divorce was Offset's betrayal of Cardi and his polygamous relationships.
