Corona kills Iranian futsal player Elham Sheikhi, 22 years old

Today, Thursday, several Iranian media announced the death of the Iranian football player, Ilham Sheikhi, in Qom Governorate, as a result of her infection with the Corona virus, which recently spread in Iran.
This is the first death recorded among athletes in Iran, since the outbreak of the Corona virus in the country, after Qom province recorded the first two deaths inside the province last Wednesday, and this province became a center for spreading the emerging virus in Iran.
It was announced earlier today that Masoumeh Ebtekar, the Iranian Vice President for Women's Affairs, and Mojtaba Dhul-Nur, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament, were infected with the new Corona virus.
The Iranian authorities also announced that the results of the analyzes conducted for Iraj Harirchi, Deputy Minister of Health, confirmed that he was infected with the “Corona” virus.
