How to detect early cancer

Little by little, the good news may come true, and the malignant disease will not return to being malignant. All that effort that doctors around the world have made and are still making has paid off. Preliminary results showed that an experimental blood test developed by Grill Company promises to detect lung cancer in its early stages based on floating DNA. The tumor released into the blood.
The findings, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting in Chicago, were based on a sample of 127 lung cancer patients and 580 healthy people.

The findings shed light for the first time on how a blood test for early-stage cancer can detect lung cancer, the deadliest form of cancer in the United States, which is usually diagnosed in the later stages.
“What we generally see is a blood test that detects a strong biomarker for cancers that are associated with higher mortality and that medical tests don’t usually detect,” said Dr. Anne-Renee Hartmann, vice president of clinical research development at Grill.
The research examined the ability of three types of serial tests to track cancer in blood samples from patients with early and late lung cancers.
