Italian Design Night attracts art lovers in Dubai

In the presence of hundreds of design enthusiasts, who came on March 6 to the “d3” area in Dubai to participate in the “Italian Design Night” event, which was hosted by the Italian Embassy in the UAE, the Italian Consulate General in Dubai and the Italian Trade Mission in Dubai, in cooperation with Dubai Design District.

 22 showrooms located at d3 representing more than 100 prominent Italian brands opened their doors to the public late hours to showcase the masterpieces of Italian design during “Italian Design Night”. 8 other brands also showcased their creations during the event.

International designer and architect, Fabio Novembervi, delivered the inspiring keynote address on sustainability and design during the event as the “Italy Design Ambassador to the UAE”. The musician “DJ Papa Boda Bar Monte Carlo”, who specially came to Dubai to participate in “Italian Design Night”, broadcast the best international music tracks.

The event in Dubai is part of the global initiative “Italian Design Day” which is supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Ministry of Culture and Heritage and Trinal di Milano in cooperation with the Italian Trade Mission and other partners.
