What are the evidences that prove that your partner is miserly and not a mastermind? 

 1- He does not give gifts except on occasions and he may not give them at all

2- He avoids serving and helping others, even in non-material matters

3- He does not enjoy a meal if he is going to pay for it

4- A lot of complaints about distress and high prices, even if his words are true, but many complaints are a sign of miserliness

5- If his income level is good, watch whether he spends on his well-being or tends to austerity

6- He suggests to himself and to others that picnics and trips do not appeal to him and that he does not like luxurious places

7- He is stingy in showing his emotions and his constant slogan is that he has a weakness in his ability to express his feelings

What are the ways to deal with a miser? 

1- Not to use words such as “stingy”, “careful” and other provisions that reflect negatively on the person and use them as a justification for him in the behavior of miserliness, as it may cause him to make the matter worse.

2- You have to make him feel safe away from money, and to strengthen other sources of confidence and not to be afraid of the future and the importance of enjoying the present

3- Talk to him about your view of money and that it was created to enjoy it and not to tire for it.

4- Take the initiative to give, perhaps that stimulates a sense of generosity

5- Show a lot of interest and pleasure if he offers you something

6- If this trait is inherited from one of his parents, the matter is more difficult, but many attempts will work.

7- Go together to the market, as he may be encouraged to buy, and praise his elegance, as this stimulates the love of buying.
