1- olive oil

This oil has many cosmetic benefits, and in the field of eyelash care, it promotes their growth, moisturizes them, and increases their shine. To benefit from its properties, it is enough to dip a clean mascara brush in a little olive oil and then pass it over the eyelashes. This trick can be used two or three times a week, and olive oil can be replaced with argan oil.

2- Vitamin E oil

It is characterized by its effectiveness in strengthening hair and promoting its growth. It has the same effect on the eyelashes, and it is recommended to apply it with a cotton swab or clean mascara brush two or three times a week.

3- Eyelash brush

This tool is equipped with a brush on one side and a comb on the other, and is used for both eyebrows and eyelashes. Its benefit lies in removing impurities and untangling it, in addition to activating the hair growth mechanism, and it is recommended to use it on a daily basis.

4- Coconut oil

This oil has a moisturizing effect, strengthens the hair of the eyelashes and increases their shine. It is recommended to use it in the virgin form, as it is soft on the skin, and apply a little of it to the finger and rub it on the tips of the eyelids and eyelashes. This step can be repeated two or three times a week.

5- Biotin

Poor eyelash growth may result from a deficiency in vitamins and minerals. In this case, it is recommended to use biotin, which is able to fill the deficiency in these vitamins, specifically vitamin B8. It is recommended to take it as a nutritional supplement for at least 3 months in order to enhance the growth of eyelashes and make them stronger. It also helps in strengthening nails.

6- Castor oil

It is the most famous oil for stimulating eyelash growth and is the most effective oil in this field. It is enough to apply a little of it with your fingers or with a clean mascara brush, as it is able to moisturize the eyelashes and make them stronger and thicker. It can be used twice a week and used to moisturize the skin as well.

7- Green tea

Regular consumption of green tea helps promote healthy skin and hair, but it can also be used in the cosmetic field in the form of a cold infusion in which cotton circles are dipped, then massaged into the eyelashes and left on the eye for about 5 minutes. It is recommended to adopt this step 3 or 4 times a week.

8- Omega 3

Omega fatty acids help improve the quality of hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. It is found in fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, and oysters but also in flax and chia seeds. It can also be used as a treatment with nutritional supplements over a period of 3 months.

9- Aloe Vera

Aloe vera gel has a moisturizing effect on the eyelashes from the roots to the tips, which helps promote their growth. It is applied with fingers or a clean mascara brush. Use 3 or 4 times a week.

Special tips for eyelash care

• Clean the eyes well from traces of makeup with a soft product, or simply pass a piece of cotton soaked in lukewarm water over the eyelids to remove any traces of dust and pollution if no makeup is applied to the eyes.
• Avoid excessive use of waterproof makeup products, as they contain irritating chemical ingredients that cause damage to the hair of the eyelashes.
