Chalhoub Group hosts the fashion show at Expo and launches the Ramadan campaign “With Love, We Make a Difference

Chalhoub Group hosted a fashion show called “The Showcase” For a group of brands, he brought together various events in the fashion world to support and celebrate local and regional designers from Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, at the Lebanese Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. This event confirms the commitment of the Chalhoub Group to support and nurture the local fashion scene, thus providing opportunities for the next generation of designers and talent. 

 

وAs a first look before the live fashion show, guests, upon entering the suite, enjoyed exploring each designer's collection through videos and previewing their most popular ready-to-wear designs. Embodying the efforts of the Chalhoub Group, which seeks to support the community through its works, its employees participated in this event, where they displayed on stage a collection of costumes for the participating designers.

The list of participating brands included "Triano" and "Wjooh", two brands affiliated with the Chalhoub Group, in addition to cosmetics brands such as; Nars, and Yves Saint Laurent Beautyand Armani Beauty. 

 

The list of participating designers includes:  

• Kawthar Al-Hareish - Kaf by Kav (Saudi designer) 

• Rima Al-Banna - Rimami (Palestinian designer) 

• Sarah Al-Tamimi (Emirati designer) 

• Marker Thyme - Rebecca Zaatar (Lebanese designer) 

• Yasmine Saleh (Lebanese designer) 

• Zaid by Zaid Farooqi (Jordanian designer) 

 

During this event, Chalhoub Group revealed its new campaign“With love we make a difference” In support of the CSR initiative ahead of Ramadan, a sustainable tote handbag designed in collaboration with international artist James Gold Crown, with the assurance that all proceeds from these bags will go to the Dubai Cares “Announcement” programme.Rewired Global Communication for Education.
