In an interview with the National News Agency, the Director of the “National Center for Geophysics” of the National Council for Scientific Research, Dr. Eng. In turn, the researcher in groundwater and geological hazards, Jean Abi Rizk, confirmed in an interview with the “National News Agency” that “there are no volcanic eruptions in Lebanon,” explaining that “there are volcanic rocks that were formed due to the leakage of volcanic lava from the ground and its spread through faults and fractures.
