The “WhatsApp” service has added a new feature to the “hide messages” feature from conversations that allows it to run “automatically” for new individual chats.

When the feature was first launched in November of last year, users were only allowed to choose certain other users to hide messages, and the new update allows it to turn on automatically for all new messages, after a period of time chosen by the user.

It was not allowed to hide messages until after seven days, but now users can delete them after 24 hours or 90 days in addition to the seven-day period.

The WhatsApp blog said: It should be up to you to decide how long a message lasts.

“You will be able to make all new chats disappear by default after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days,” Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the company “Meta” that owns the application, said in his Facebook account. Not all messages need to stay forever.”
