Mai Omar ousts her husband, Muhammad Sami, after the offspring of strangers

One day after the end of the series “The Offspring of the Strangers” for the two stars Ahmed El-Sakka and Amir Karara, the company that produced the work, which caused an uproar in the month of Ramadan 2021 due to the great role of the director’s wife, Egyptian actress Mai Omar, at the expense of the co-stars, announced a “stop dealing” with the director. And the Egyptian script writer Mohamed Sami, in a brief statement published on her official accounts on social media on Friday evening, without explaining the reasons.

The news broke on social media in Egypt, amid speculations about the dissatisfaction of "United Media Services", the producing company, about the series that Sami presented, written and directed.

For his part, Egyptian journalist writer Hani Azab indicated, on his Twitter page, today, Saturday, that the reasons for stopping cooperation with Sami are his failure to adhere to the scenario agreed upon with the producing company, and the failure to deliver the remaining episodes on time.

He added that one of the reasons was also to give Mai Omar a more representative space than the agreed-upon role, and to add scenes without dramatic justification at the expense of the work.

He also said that "there are many disagreements that occurred between the heroes of the work during the filming to reject what was going on, indicating that the work budget was outside the agreed upon.
