Tips for taking care of your baby at home

1- Do not carry your child while you are cooking food or put his stroller or chair next to the stove or oven and keep him as far as possible from these appliances.
2- If your child is in the swing, do not put him on a table or any surface designated for cooking because when he squirms, he may be hurt by going over the edge.
3- Close your child all the outlets that make him reach the areas that expose him to danger such as stairs and electrical appliances, do not leave the door of your house open, close all windows and balconies, close the drawers containing things that may harm your child, and cover all electrical sockets.
4- Do not put medicines and insecticides within reach of your child and do not keep empty batteries next to him so that he does not put them in his mouth.
5- Keep the electrical tapes away from him and do not make them dangled so that he can easily pick them up and tamper with them.
6- Make sure that the baby carrier is proportional to its size and age and that you always put it in front of you and not from behind so that you are assured of its position at all times, and the same applies to the stroller.
7- Take care of the child’s room as a whole, not just his bed. Put drawings and decorations suitable for children on its walls, and make an empty space in it for him to play in and study comfortably.
8- Do not use matches and cleaning materials in front of him because it will imitate you, and keep them in a place out of his reach.
9- Do not leave any bags with him because he may swallow them and suffocate.
10- Do not carry your child while you are drinking a certain drink because the colors and shapes of the cups draw his attention and make him want to pick them up, which exposes him to harm.
11- Do not put in front of him any tools that are easy to break, and make sure that the TV shelf and bookshelves are stable so that they do not fall easily if he pulls them, and hide as much as you can any wires for the devices, as well as the cords of curtains so as not to wrap him if he plays with them.
12- Make sure to keep all the floors in your house dry so that your child does not slip on it.
