Heba Tawaji re-launches events at Maraya Hall in AlUla

The Lebanese star, Heba Tawaji, will perform a live concert in Al-Ula on Friday, corresponding to October 29, 2021 In an event that brings back music and events to Maraya, which has been suspended since before the Corona pandemic.

Heba Tawaji, a famous Lebanese singer, actress and director, has performed in many prestigious theaters around the world and has a huge regional and international fan base. Heba was also the first to relaunch the beloved music of the Saudi audience in 2017, as the first female singer to perform on the live stage in the Kingdom. Hiba is now visiting AlUla for the first time, and she will charm the audience with a selection from her long collection of Arabic and non-Arabic music, which is over 14 years old.

With the start of the season of events in AlUla, the voice of the famous singer will echo through the stunning Ashar Valley in the ancient desert city, along with the dazzling music of the famous producer and composer Osama Al Rahbani accompanied by 53 international musicians from the world.

Due to the decrease in the safe capacity of the concert due to the precautionary measures of the spread of the Covid virus, it is expected that tickets will be sold out quickly from fans and lovers of high-end music from the Kingdom, the Gulf countries, the Middle East and North Africa.

 

As Saudi Arabia continues to reopen to normalcy, live concerts among other major cultural and artistic events have begun to return to AlUla. As part of the recently announced AlUla Moments calendar, more concerts and cultural events are scheduled to take place in AlUla in the coming weeks and months.

Maraya Hall was last used to host musical events in March 2020 when it hosted international singer Lionel Richie and Persian Music Nights by a group of regional artists at Winter at Tantora. It has also hosted prestigious events such as the 41st Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council last January and the Conference of Nobel Laureates in 2020.

The venue underwent further improvements during 2020 and is now home to the mirrored glass rooftop restaurant, Maraya Social, which serves signature cuisine by celebrity British chef Jason Atherton. The upscale restaurant is officially open to the public in أكتوبر, perfect time for Maraya's first concert of 2021.

Heba will be the first in a series of distinguished regional and international artists to perform in 2021 as part of the AlUla Moments calendar.

About the ceremony, Heba Tawaji commented: “I have always wanted to perform in AlUla, a place full of history and creative legacy. Singing in Maraya is a great honor for me, and we have thought carefully about this concert to give such a place and destination a right, and it will be a very special event.”

In order to attend the ceremony, attendees do not need to take a negative result for the Covid virus, taking into account the implementation of all appropriate health and safety measures and following all national health regulations.
