It is noteworthy that the French Public Prosecutor requested, on Thursday, that Saad Lamjarred be imprisoned for seven years on charges of sexual assault. The Moroccan singer denied, on Wednesday, before the Paris Criminal Court, that he had raped the young French woman, “Laura B”, or had an affair with her.

The details of the case go back to October 2016, when a French woman alleged that the 37-year-old, famous in the field of Arab pop music, raped her in a luxury hotel on the Champs-Elysees while he was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.
