The Syrian artist, Hana Nassour, announced that she was infected with the new Corona virus, to be the first Syrian artist to confirm that she was infected with this disease.

Nassour said, through a post on her Facebook page, that she was very reluctant to announce her injury, but she felt that it was her sacred duty to everyone who would read her words.

Ten days later, her husband called her and told her that her friend was infected with the emerging coronavirus, asking them to get tested for COVID-19.

She added that she and her Syrian friend, who lived in one house for fear of catching the virus, called the health center and asked them to stay at home, especially since their temperature did not rise much, and their symptoms were coughing, pressure on the chest and general weakness.

The artist, Hana Nassour, revealed that sleep abandoned them from her time, and they began to feel delirious and sweaty, and they were trying to resist by exercising so that the blood flowed in the veins and defended themselves, and the body that was being worn out, as she put it.

She added that they drank yerba mate with ginger and orange juice, and took cetamol, in addition to gargling every ten minutes with boiling water, vinegar, salt and lemon leaves.

She added that in her life she is interested in natural and healthy food, the whole wheat, and she said in describing the situation and the way to confront it: "Every day we knead my bread with whole wheat, we eat against our will to live, we encourage each other that we will not die here."

She stressed that hope makes her confident that she will return to her country, Syria, and to her work, and that she will tell people what happened to her so that they will be able to overcome the ordeal without medication.

And she added: "Believe me, they are distressed and crying, bitter, and I pray to God to strengthen our faith. We are now on the fifth day of the onset of pain, but the temperature is 38 and things have stopped escalating, and I am in a bed of fever. I wrote and posted on Facebook, not my habit. The artist explained that she is still in the process of illness and she and her friend have not yet recovered, but she holds great faith within her, asking her followers to pray for her to recover.
