Musician Elias Rahbani passed away after a lifetime of creativity

Lebanese media reported the death of the Lebanese musician, Elias Rahbani, today, Monday. And the late artist, born in 1938, is brother The youngest of the two late brothers Assi and Mansour Rahbani.

Elias Rahbani is a musician, composer, arranger, songwriter, and orchestra conductor. He composed more than 2500 songs and instrumentals, 2000 of which are Arabic. He composed soundtracks for 25 films, including Egyptian films, as well as series, and classical piano plays, the most famous of which are the music for the movie “My Blood, My Tears and My Smile”, the movie “My Love”, the movie “The Most Beautiful Days of My Life” and the series “The Night Player”.

Rahbani was born in the city of Antelias in Mount Lebanon. He is married to Mrs. Nina Khalil. He has two sons, Ghassan and Jad, who are known in the field of art and the music industry in Lebanon and the Arab world.

Elias Rahbani composed and wrote a number of songs for a large number of veteran Lebanese artists, most notably Fayrouz, Sabah, Wadih al-Safi, Nasri Shams al-Din, Melhem Barakat, Magda El Roumi, Julia Boutros and others.

The songs that he composed and wrote for Mrs. Fairouz constituted an imprint in the Lebanese memory, including: “Oh Lore, your love, the forgotten oasis, with you, O Bird of War, between you and me, Jenna Al-Dar, they killed me, our black eyes, brothers, we were saved, Yayy, my forgetful, the time was We had a mill.”
