The death of Saleh Kamel, founder of ART channels and the most important Arab investor in the media field

The Saudi businessman, Sheikh Saleh Kamel, died yesterday evening, at the age of 79, after a struggle with illness.

Saleh Kamel is considered one of the most important investors in the Arab media field, after establishing the Arab Radio and Television Network (ART).

Kamel was born in 1941 in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and his father worked as Director General of the Saudi Cabinet.

The late headed the Dallah Al-Baraka Group, under which several companies fall. He also held several positions, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Thought Foundation.
