The Moroccan "Al-Awal" website indicated that "Bensmina is the daughter of a former security governor in Rabat and the niece of former Minister Nasser Hajji."
Al-Awal quoted Wafaa Hajji, the federal leader and head of the Socialist International for Women, as saying in a blog post: "My little cousin Iman.B, who is only 32 years old, died due to a simple plastic surgery for liposuction."
Hajji added that the operation was carried out in a famous clinic in Rabat, saying: “They kept her in the operating room for 8 hours and hid her condition for 3 days, as they told the family that with Covid-19 they would not be able to enter to see her in her room.”
She pointed out that her parents are living in a state of anger and mourning, stressing that they want to open a real discussion about plastic surgery in Morocco and talk about their case.
