Ahmed bin Mohammed inaugurates the Arabian Travel Market 2019

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, officially inaugurated the 2019th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (Al Multaqa XNUMX), the largest event in the travel and tourism sector in the Middle East.

His Highness, accompanied by Helal Saeed Al Marri, Executive Director of the Dubai World Trade Center and Director General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai and a group of senior government officials and leading figures in the travel and tourism sector, toured the corridors of the four-day exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The ATM 2019, which takes place from April 28 to May 1, will witness the presence of 400 major exhibiting platforms and the participation of representatives from 150 countries, and will welcome nearly 40 visitors, and will receive 2,500 exhibiting companies and more than 100 new exhibitors.

The twenty-sixth edition of the exhibition will be part of the Arab Travel Week, which includes the Arabian Travel Market 2019, the International Luxury Travel Market, in addition to the Connect Middle East, India and Africa Forum, which is being held for the first time this year and focuses on developing air routes, and the Consumer Day event “Holiday.” Chopper” which was held yesterday, Saturday (27 April).

Among the most prominent sessions and seminars that the exhibition will witness this year are the “Arab-Chinese Tourism Forum” and the Hotel Industry Summit, as well as the return of the World Halal Tourism Summit to its agenda. Advanced technology and innovation will be the main focus of the Arabian Travel Market 2019, as it will be addressed in all sessions, discussions and forums of the exhibition.
