Are some women genetically predisposed to have more boys or more girls?

The sex of the fetus is influenced by genetics, and studies have found that chromosomal defects are likely to affect the sex of the newborn.

The effect is more pronounced in men.

In mammals, the sperms carrying the X chromosome produce girls while the sperms carrying the Y produce boys. So parents who have genetic defects in X or Y tend to produce the opposite sex.
Studies reveal that white fathers produce about 105 sons for every 100 girls, African fathers produce about 103, while older fathers produce more daughters.

Other effects exist as well, for example, fathers with hepatitis C have more boys.
Meaning, almost all women are predisposed to have more boys - the sex ratio of 105 boys to 100 girls is affected by partner choice, which will have a genetic component.

So we might expect genetic effects in women as well, albeit weak.
