Breguet Type XXI 3815 Titanium, the most glamorous

Breguet Type XXI 3815 Titanium
Breguet is known for its global leadership in the luxury watch industry, for its prestigious collections of glamorous timepieces, as well as for its association with the world of aviation. One of the great aviation pioneers, Louis-Charles Breguet, a third-generation grandson of Sir Abraham Louis Breguet, was at the time when Breguet was able to establish itself with an impressive collection of Type XX aviator chronographs. Today, Breguet adds a new sporty model to its range
Modernly, it is the chronograph watch 3815 XXI.
This limited edition represents a new chapter in the history of the iconic aeronautical chronograph. This year, the 3815 Type XXI chronograph becomes the anti-aliased to the previous version, the classic 3817 Type XXI, unveiled in 2016. The new model features a 42mm case made of titanium, a material known for its resistance and lightness on the wrist. This new watch features a finely grooved strap that is easy to grip and has a sporty feel, with a water resistance of 100 metres, with a Lult crown, and a finish that matches the polished and grooved surfaces. The bi-directional bezel, also made of titanium, has been forged with a gauge unit

60 minutes of contrasting black lacquer finish enhances the contemporary design of this edition.
But the changes don't stop there: the 3815 Type XXI chronograph is accented with a dark black dial, and the watch's modern, sporty character is expressed in vivid colours. The new dial is available in brilliant green or orange numerals, markers and hands, and features a display with only two counters, a 24 hour indicator and small seconds, at 3 and 9 o'clock, respectively. The minute sum is available in the center of the chronograph, as is the case
with a total of seconds. The new and dated minute track completes its cycle at 6 o'clock in this modern watch.
The basic elements of this collection are the mechanical self-winding movement with flyback function, and also includes the latest technologies implemented by Breguet, such as the flywheel and the silicon balance spring. The sapphire crystal bezel showcases the movement of the watch in every detail, as well as the rotor
I went with a special finishing touch for this version.

Inspired by the innovative spirit of his predecessor, Louis-Charles Breguet (1880-1955) was able to become one of the pioneers of the French aeronautics, designing many innovative aircraft - such as the helicopter that preceded the helicopter - and a number of surface aircraft, seaplanes, combat aircraft, and aircraft Civil transport, thus becoming a major figure in the world of aviation. His interest in the world of aeronautics led to his interest in the development of pilot watches. Beginning in 1918, Breguet developed many watches for the US Air Force, and then in 1922 manufactured watches for Breguet Airlines. As early as 1935, the watchmaking house designed the first chronograph watch that could be worn on the wrist. Nearly twenty years later, Breguet wrote the most important chapter in the history of the aviation watch industry, launching the legendary Type XX chronograph, at the behest of the armed forces.
It was used by the French Air Force and Naval Air Force until the early XNUMXs.
