Disney introduces Splash Mountain and the Dark-skinned Princess 

The Walt Disney Company said that it will renew the "Splash Mountain" theme park game, to become Tiana, the first dark-skinned princess among the Disney world, and the star of the animated movie "The Princess and the Frog."

The announcement followed criticism of the game's current theme, based on the 1946 movie Song of the South. A recent online petition accuses the movie of promoting racist ideas.
