Is Hanta virus a new epidemic?

A huge news spread that ignited social media and terrified everyone about the spread of an epidemic of a new virus called Hanta. So what is the validity of this news?

The Chinese newspaper, Global Times, announced that a person infected with the Hanta virus died during its transmission from one province to another, and 32 people who contacted this person were quarantined for fear of the spread of this epidemic.

1- This epidemic is not new, it has been discovered since 1950, and the method of transmission is not easy and it is not transmitted from person to person.

2- Infection occurs only through exposure to contaminated mice waste (urine, feces, and even saliva), meaning if we touch things contaminated with them and touch the nose or mouth, infection can occur or it is possible by being bitten by a mouse.

3- This virus can cause hemorrhagic fever, kidney problems, and severe respiratory symptoms.

4- Caution is obligatory, but not to the point of panic and fear.
