Meet Bazma, the first Saudi-American female pop singer

 In a first of its kind, a Saudi artist succeeded in becoming the first American pop singer, to be known as BAZMA. She was born in Jeddah, and moved with her family at the age of 12, and Toli registered at the Los Angeles Music Awards and won her as a pop singer for the youth category.

The Saudi artist, Basma Al-Otaibi, who is currently 18 years old, told an advertising agency her story, which began when she went to America and did not master the English language, to learn the language by chanting pop songs until she mastered the language. Basma said: "I loved American pop, and I started writing and composing songs since I was young, until I composed a song called "Voodoo" and participated in a number of music festivals, after which I tried to publish the song and introduce it to production companies, until I decided to produce a special album."

In 2018, I finished writing a number of songs, and composed the tunes for them with the help of an audio engineer, until I was able to release a special album called “Vere” meaning fear, which is widespread and available in many commercial sites and markets.

“Basma” classifies herself as a comprehensive artist, writer of English novels and songs, in addition to her love for singing and acting, and she is always keen to take advantage of her talents to use her time for benefit and benefit, until she was able to achieve multiple successes on a global level, and participates in the Arab Talents Competition. She also sang Oprah, and was chosen among 100 participants to be the Queen of Arab Talents for 2018.

Basma, who recently graduated from high school, is preparing to enroll in an online institute of drama and music. She says: “I belong to Saudi origins from Al-Otaiba who lives in Jeddah, and my mother is from the north of Saudi Arabia, and I enjoy wide support from my family and aspire to obtain a diploma in these arts, To be able to provide professional work in the technical field.”

Basma participated in 4 competitions, and won all of them, to tell the stories of those competitions, saying: “The first of which was the Voodoo Song Competition at the Los Angeles Music Festival, and the second for talents in Texas, and I won first place for songwriter for the youth category and singer for the youth category, and the third participation was in the Atlanta Georgia competition for the category The youth is hip-hop, and the fourth is the queen of Arab talents.”

And about her participation in acting, she said: “I acted in a short film about the role of a teenager suffering from schizophrenia or schizophrenia, and the film won a number of awards, and I am currently on a steady path towards achieving my ambition with a job worthy of my homeland, which I am proud of. The Saudi girl was able to make her mark. in the world, and has proven its capabilities and talents from a long time ago.”
