Christopher Anderson, author of The Life of King Charles, said the new monarch was so enamored of a teddy bear that he only allowed one person to make basic repairs on it, his childhood nanny, Mabel Anderson.
The author added that Charles, as a young prince and at a stage puberty, the doll treated "like his child," according to the British newspaper, "Daily Mail".
In his new biography, the famous American author notes that Charles's personal assistant, Michael Fawcett, was tasked with looking after the bear and knowing its whereabouts at all times.

And if the antique doll needed some ongoing repairs, only Mabel Anderson, the King's childhood nanny, was allowed to get close to the doll.
