Prince Charles spoke happily for the first time about a long-running issue of his son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and about the birth of Lillipet Diana, saying the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's announcement was "good news".

On a visit to an Oxford car factory, Prince Charles said the birth of his fifth grandson, Lillibit, was "happy news". The Prince of Wales spoke of the need for innovation and development in the field of electric cars, and stated that it is "the legacy we left to our grandchildren", referring to the honor of the new born Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on June 4.

Prince Charles said: “The development of technology such as electric cars is vital to keeping our world healthy for future generations.
