Queen Elizabeth calls for uniting efforts to overcome the Corona crisis 

In a rare and short speech by Queen Elizabeth today, Sunday, from Windsor Castle, and in a television broadcast, she saluted the British people on the way they faced the challenge posed by the Corona virus, and she also thanked the medical staff who responded to the virus, “History will remember the efforts in facing the Corona challenge.”

She called for unifying efforts to overcome the crisis, and pledged "success" in this task. "We still have difficult times ahead, but we will get through them," she added.

The Queen recalled her experience during World War II when she addressed people who had to be separated from their families and friends by saying, "We will meet again."
