The British Ministry of Education issued a sudden decision to reduce the period required for the quarantine of people infected with the Corona virus of the students.
The ministry advised students who tested positive to stay home for three days instead of five, amid fears of lost time in the classroom.
While adults were advised to isolate for five days if the result of their infection was positive, according to the British newspaper, “The Telegraph.”
A spokesman for the UK's Health Security Agency said the damage to education as a result of quarantine was greater compared to the risk of children and young people contracting the virus.

He also added, "There is some evidence that children have a shorter sickness period compared to adults, and this guidance balances the risks of transmission with continued disruption to education."
The new guidelines cover how schools in England will cope with the pandemic, from Friday.
It is noteworthy that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced last February the end of the mandatory quarantine for people with corona in England, in a measure that sparked controversy in his strategy to “coexist with Corona” just as with “influenza.”
And the United Kingdom, which is one of the countries most affected by the pandemic, with more than 160 deaths recorded, was among the first countries to return to normal life, as before the pandemic, based on a high level of vaccination.
