Days after entering the intensive care unit, the Egyptian artist, Suhair Al-Babli, died, today, Sunday, at the age of 86.

Dr. Reda Taima, the late artist's brother-in-law, had revealed the latest developments in the case, noting that her health had worsened more during the past few days after she was in a diabetic coma that led to a number of complications.

Some media sources mentioned that she woke up from a coma before her death and pronounced the shahada by God and died.

The late artist was distinguished for mastering the comic as well as the dramatic, and she has a huge stock of cinematic and theatrical artworks, and among her most important works is the play Raya and Sakina with Shadia, and the rioters school.

It is worth noting that the late woman retired in 1997 after wearing the hijab, and in 2006 she returned again through the series "Qalb Habiba".
