The elegant Eid look with round diamonds from Parmigiani Fleurier
Parmigiani Fleurier presents the new Tonda 1950 editions encrusted with precious stones, distinguished by a special luster. The round diamonds of the Tonda 1950 Rainbow gem-set watch illuminate the new Parmigiani Fleurier women's watch that fits the personality of the modern woman on the occasion of Eid.
Diamond and gem studs
The new Tonda 1950 women's watch features a large bezel, which reduces dial space and provides more room for gem-setting. No fewer than 51 round diamonds adorn the bezel of the watch, for a total weight of 1.82 carats. Thanks to their size and purity, these diamonds create a stunning play of light. The Tonda 1950 Rainbow contains 36 elongated stones that have been selected and arranged in exact shade to gradually recreate the entire rainbow spectrum. The edition contains twenty-one pink, blue, yellow and orange sapphires, three rubies and six tsavorites, totaling 3.73 carats.

The model's rose gold case is complemented by one of three dials. The Tonda 1950 set with diamonds has a navy blue dial - a faux pearl, white mother-of-pearl with a rich reflective texture. The Tonda 1950 Rainbow Edition is available exclusively in white mother-of-pearl. The logo, simplified and relatively larger, stands out at 12 o'clock while remaining consistent with the delicate dial design. The hands are set in a delta shape with a gilded design that mimics the rose gold-plated markings.
Seamless Eternal Aesthetic Form
The 1950 Tonda is distinguished by the intrinsic beauty of Parmigiani Fleurier. The iconic shape with 4 round tabs makes it a comfortable piece to wear; striving for harmony between the proportions of each element of the case and the dial; Delta-shaped hands and a cut-out crown - these are all hallmarks of elegance inherent in the brand's identity. Remarkably, the gem-set 1950 Tonda and Rainbow are still very slender models, despite their very studded bezels. These thinner proportions are made possible thanks to the PF701 caliber, which is only 2.6 mm thick.

The movement that powers the stone-set 1950 Tonda and Rainbow owes its 2.6mm overdrive to the off-center rotor integrated directly into the baseplate. This component winds the movement, which operates independently for either 42 or 48 hours. This caliber was originally developed to allow for the addition of multiple functions without altering the tiny 1950s Tonda family proportions – such as a calendar or moon phase indication that could enrich the assortment. This is a testament to the excellent design of this movement and its sequential versions.
