Get rid of passwords soon in a safer way

Cisco Secure unveils a simple and effective future of cybersecurity based on Duo's system for validating data across a neutral infrastructure without the need for a password.

The company said the system seamlessly integrates with Duo's existing data validation system, which is used by more than 25 organizations globally.

Duo Security's new password-free validation system will allow enterprise users to bypass passwords and securely log into cloud applications via security keys or biometric options built into modern laptops and smartphones.

Everyone knows the consequences of using passwords. They are easily hacked and difficult to manage, costing organizations billions of dollars annually. Users suffer from too many passwords in their personal and professional lives. Password reset requests also form a large part of TSO tasks, reducing user productivity and raising business technical support costs.
