The fifth season of The Voice kicks off

The Voice, the fifth season, in a new look and with special preparations witnessed in the new season of The Voice, which is shown on the “MBC” screen, after making many modifications to this season’s version.

In a press conference that witnessed the presence of the trained stars and the spokesperson for the “MBC” group, Mazen Hayek, it was announced the details of the season.

The coaches committee is witnessing the presence of Ragheb Alama, Ahlam, Mohamed Hamaki and Samira Saeed. Several modifications were made, some of them related to the nature of the program and changes to the level of decoration and coaches' seats, in addition to the content.

And the “Exclusion” button was introduced, which allows one coach to prevent another coach from including a specific talent on his team, which is exceptional this season. As a result of the abundance of votes, the coach can include 15 participants to his team instead of 12, provided that there is a competitive stage before moving to the ring, consisting of 3 participants, two of whom are chosen by the star, in order to compete in the confrontation stage.

In the new season of the program, the “MBC Al-Amal” initiative will be launched, to witness expressive and unforgettable human moments, as it addresses people of determination who are deaf, with the aim of enabling them to live the program’s musical experience, by participating in the program. Live performances, aided by special techniques, visual equipment and modern innovations.

In the press conference, Hayek spoke about the changes that occurred in the coaches’ ranks and the participation of Ahlam alongside Ragheb Alama, stressing that there is a new positive thing in the relationship that is governed by the competitive nature of the program, as the four coaches are coaches for their separate teams, and are not members of a jury that needs consensus and harmony in Evaluation.

Hayek also revealed that "MBC" has obtained the rights to a new program that falls under the umbrella of "The Voice", "The Voice Seniors", which includes talents over sixty years old, to be announced later.

In the words of the coaches, Ragheb Alama confirmed that there are distinguished voices that have tired them as coaches, and the choices will be difficult for them, and the audience joked that there is a struggle between them as coaches in order to choose the best voices.

As for Ahlam, she talked about Samira Said joining the committee, stressing that she is one of her fans, so her presence is a great addition to the program, noting that the program is witnessing the presence of voices that are superior to what the audience might imagine.

For her part, Samira Saeed expressed her happiness for the experience, especially as she enjoyed the first audition stage, and noticed a large number of distinctive voices, while Hamaki considered that the fifth season is exceptional for more than one reason, including the distinctive voices and the characters of the contestants that herald the coming stardom.

Regarding his participation in the judging committees of The Voice and The Voice Kids, he stressed that the two programs are different, and the nature of dealing with children is different from the second programme.

The first episode of the program will be launched on the evening of Saturday, the twenty-first of September, on the MBC screen.
