A huge fire broke out in the conference hall, which is scheduled to witness the opening of the El Gouna Festival in its fifth session, tomorrow, Thursday.

The El Gouna Film Festival administration confirmed that a small fire in El Gouna Convention and Culture Center had been brought under control.

Samih Sawiris said that the fire devoured a small part of the hall prepared to receive the opening activities of the festival, and that the hall was ready to receive the opening ceremony.
