Six types of thinking that lead to depression
- Seeing the bad side of everything and ignoring the positive side despite the possibility of finding solutions to problems.
- Seeing things as either perfect or tragic
- Giving up before starting to carry out tasks because of thinking about frustrating things, which reduces determination and consumes energy
- Blaming oneself instead of looking into the negative things one sees in himself and trying to find a solution to them.
- Generalization and belief that something bad happens always means that it will happen, which causes a regression from achieving goals.
- Ideas that start with “if” come up despite the knowledge that blaming oneself for what happened in the past is futile.
