Chopard contributes to the support of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2023

The prestigious Swiss Chopard House, in cooperation with its partners in the Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons Company, supported the Abu Dhabi Festival to honor four leading international personalities with specially designed awards from Chopard.

The Abu Dhabi Festival honored each of the artists:

American composer, arranger and pianist David Shire

Sir Ian Isaac Stutzker CBD, banker, musician and philanthropist

Music composer John C. Debney

Iraqi musician and oud player, Naseer Shamma

Peruvian opera singer Juan Diego Florez, famous for leading the “tenor” group

Contemporary Spanish dancer and choreographer María Bagis, one of the most famous female flamenco artists in the world

Music producer Robert Townson is the most prolific producer of film music cinematic In the world

Chinese composer Tan Dun, one of the most influential classical composers, fuses the musical traditions of his homeland with contemporary Western influences

Inspiration in all fields

On this occasion, Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Creative Director of Chopard, said: “Art and music have always been sources of inspiration for me, and Chopard is pleased to be part of this partnership with the Abu Dhabi Festival, which brings together various fields of creativity.”

The Abu Dhabi Festival Award has become synonymous with cultural excellence since its launch in 2012 in cooperation with Chopard. The award is awarded every year to honor distinguished personalities for their exceptional contributions to the enrichment of various fields of the arts.
