A technical failure hit the Snapchat social networking platform around the world, preventing its users from dealing with the services of the application completely.

Downdetector, which monitors crashes and problems with the most popular sites and applications, has received several complaints from Snapchat users, stating that there is a sudden failure in the service.

Snap said, through its support account on Twitter, that it is aware of a problem with the Snapchat application that prevents many users of the application, and that it is working to fix the problem that causes it.

It is worth noting that Facebook services were interrupted last week for more than 7 hours, after which there were interruptions for all the company’s services from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp applications.
