What are the food sources for biotin?

Biotin is an imidazole derivative and is found in these foods:

calf liver

Adding animal liver to the diet can increase biotin consumption, as 85 grams of cooked veal liver contains 30.8 micrograms of biotin, and meat from other organs such as kidneys are good sources of this vitamin.

eggs

Egg yolk is one of the most food sources rich in biotin, as one cooked egg contains 10 micrograms of biotin, but cooking the yolk can reduce the amount of biotin available in it.

salmon

Salmon is a fish rich in protein and omega-3, in addition to being a good source of biotin, as 85 grams of salmon canned in water contains 5 micrograms of this vitamin.

sunflower seeds

A quarter cup of roasted sunflower seeds contains 2.6 mcg of biotin. Peanuts, pecans, and walnuts are good food sources of biotin.
