What are the problems of updating the new iPhone system?

Many iPhone users have complained that the latest update to the operating system leads to faster battery drain ، It makes the user need to recharge more times.

And the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, in a report seen by “Al Arabiya Net”, quoted users as saying that the “iPhone” battery has only lasted a few hours since they installed the latest update on their phones, which bears the name (iOS 15.6).

After months of anticipation, Apple finally released an update (iOS 15.6) for iPhone devices, last week, but users soon began to complain about it and its consumption of the phone battery.

The update includes several important bug fixes, including fixing an annoying issue where the Settings app continued to display that the device's storage space was full even if it was available, according to the Daily Mail.

And while many iPhone users have already eagerly downloaded the update, many have reported that the new update is affecting battery life.

Several frustrated users took to Twitter to discuss the issue this week, with one user asking, "Does anyone else have good battery life after the new system update?"

Another added: “I did a fresh install of the update on my (iPhone Pro 13) two days ago, and so far this is the battery life I'm getting.. It stopped charging this morning, and now after about 15 hours only 28% of the battery remains. Today, daytime phone use was lighter than usual.”

"I really like the new update as my battery goes from 100% to 9% in one hour, while for a year and a half I've been using the phone all day and I still have 50% of the battery left," said one of them.

Researchers at Apple Bytes also conducted their own battery life tests after downloading the new update, and found that the software deteriorated battery life on the vast majority of iPhone models, according to the Daily Mail.

"Installing a new operating system on an iPhone causes a lot of things to run in the background, from indexing to resetting the battery, and this can go on for hours or even days," said Adrian Heggs, a researcher at ZNet.

"Not only does this consume energy, but recalibrating the battery can give the impression that the battery is draining more quickly when in reality it is not," he added.

Add to that the double factor of a lot of app updates happening after a new release, along with a lot of new features available that may drain more old phones.
