AlUla International Airport receives the first Flynas flights from Riyadh

flynas, the Saudi air carrier, launched its first flight to the historic city of Al-Ula, with a direct flight from Riyadh, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, via its type-of-planes. Commenting on the inauguration of the first flight to the city of AlUla, flynas CEO Bandar Al-Muhanna expressed his thanks to the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority and the Royal Commission for AlUla for their efforts and cooperation with flynas to achieve a common goal of enhancing the presence of the historic city of AlUla on the map of domestic and international tourism. He also stressed “flynas’s keenness to provide the best service for travelers wishing to visit this unique historical city, as part of the company’s general strategy aimed at improving the travel experience in the Kingdom, whether in terms of services or prices, and in a way that contributes to transforming the Kingdom into a global tourist destination in line with the Kingdom’s vision.” 2030”.

In turn, Philip Jones, Head of Marketing and Destination Management at the Royal Commission in AlUla, said, “We welcome flynas to the city of AlUla, and we look forward to flynas operating additional domestic flights from other cities in the Kingdom. In fact, the city of AlUla is a distinguished destination in the world and we urge the residents of the Kingdom to experience and live their culture and cultural and historical heritage through this unique destination.”
